WHEN IS SUMMER SCHOOL?

·        Session 1: June 22 – July 14 (No school July 3); 8:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

o       For students from Gordon Parks, Creative Arts, Community, and Project LEAD

·        Session 2: July 20 – August 7; 8:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

o       Open to all high school students, but students from Gordon Parks, Creative Arts and Community/LEAD will be given priority.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

·        Students in grades 9-12 for 2009-2010 school year

·        Students who are credit deficient (needing to make up credits for graduation)

·        Students who have not passed the MCA GRAD Reading, Writing, or Math tests (required for graduation starting with class of 2010)

·        Students who have not passed the BST Math, Reading, or Writing tests (required for graduation for class of 2009)

WHAT IS OFFERED?

·        3 Quarter credits each session – Total of 6 credits for both sessions

·        Approximately 2 hours per class

·        Required courses for graduation plus electives

·        MCA GRAD and BST TestPrep courses

·        Breakfast and Lunch
