Carmen Janski was one of the eight SPPS teachers receive Saint Paul Retired Teachers, Inc. awards

 

The members of Saint Paul Retired Teachers, Inc. (SPRTI) are honored to award scholarships to active Saint Paul public school teachers. This program has continued without interruption since 1985. This spring, SPRTI is presented eight awards, each worth $2,000. The commitment of retired teachers to continuing education is sustained and growing.

Carmen D. Janski, Gordon Parks High School, who is engaged in the Licensure and Master of Arts in Education program, with an emphasis in classroom instruction K-12 reading, at Concordia University in St. Paul. Carmen has taught in Saint Paul Schools for twelve years and is presently teaching Health/Physical Education.
